This is really weird.... I made a torch out of world brushes, but it's grouped and turned into a func_illusionary. Basically, the room is rectangular and I made the first torch on the west wall. In the end, there would be one torch on the west wall, two on the north (longer wall), one torch on the east wall, and two on the south (longer wall again).
Since my torch was grouped I copied the whole thing and did Paste Special, rotated it clockwise exactly 90 degrees using Tools>Transform, and moved it into place on the north wall, duplicated another for the north wall, duplicated/rotated one for the east wall, etc. I never used manual rotation, I always used Tools>Transform and rotated by -90 degrees (90 degrees clockwise).
Here's the problem, look at the lower left corner of the torch - the plate part flush with the wall. It's not rounded, like the right side..? The lower right corner is rounder, but the lower left corner kind of goes straight down too far, then does a jagged 45 degree turn down to the middle.
It looks like I just made a vertex manip mistake on my brush, right? Here's how the brush looks in the side view of the editor, notice the rounded corners. They are also on the grid in regards to how they were clipped.. albeit a grid of 1x1 but still on-grid.
This is the really weird thing. Earlier I said the torches are grouped and were ALL duplicated using paste special, so they all must be the same? Well, the torch on the west wall, and the two torches on the south wall are perfect in-game. Only the two on the north wall and the one on the east wall have the messed up corners. Why could this possibly be happening? It is the first room in the map file for christ's sake.. Help appreciated
