Is it possible for a HL2 mod to be not an FPS?

A friend told me that there's some kind of a HL2 mod that is actually a strategy game. Does it make sense to anyone? If anybody heard about it, so you know how it's called?

Well, we've got Empires (Site) and there's Zombie Master (Site). There's also some other one that was also made for UT2004 but I forgot the name of that one :|

FakeFactory's skins alone are worth the download of his cinematic mod: http://halflife2.filefront.com/file/FakeFactorys_Oggs_Cinematic_Mod;55317 (There might be another update for it, I know some more textures were added and put up as another download).

Half-Life 177 is definitely one of the ones I'll keep an eye on- very interesting goal they've got going.

Anyway, Minerva was a brilliant singleplayer effort, and Mistake of Pythagoras wasn't too bad either.

The stuff with all the great potential is still in early development, really- but there's going to be more and more quality releases as time goes on!

Actually the name of the mod i heard about was Iron something... although Zombie Master also looks interesting and similar to the one I heard about.
There you can play a soldier while another player plays an army against many soldiers like you.

Iron Grip is a mod, don't remember it's gameplay premise but that could be it.

Angry Lawyer was working on an RTS-esque game, perhaps he just shifted his work into ZM.

Substance has too many glitches in it for my tastes, that and with all my settings at max in it I get wierd artifacts that I shouldn't get.

Apparently they changed the name from "Half-life: 177" to "Half-life: Missing Information"
