Have valve release some "The Orange Box 2", kinda thing, with Half life 3 and it's three episodes? or All just separate releases.


I for one, want them to release an Orange Box 2, with better box art.

It wouldn't be an Orange Box 2. And it wouldn't be called anything like the Black Box or anything. They would only do it if they had other things worth releasing with it, like they did with Portal and TF2.

Regardless of box art, there will be another bundle release whether we particularly want one or not. It will probably include Left 4 Dead, the episodes (again), and probably a Portal 2 or some other spark of genius.

By the way, anyone know what happened to "The Crossing"? That looked promising at the time.

I would prefer a separate release. If Valve do an Orange Box 2 then i won't buy it it's a waste of money.Might as well wait for orange box 3

Really, I dont see any good looking games in time with the Episode 3 schedule (not that there is any).

If some cool games do get announced, then maybe I'd like another package. Otherwise, dont delay it just to wait for other packaged games.

I really liked the box art. On the next box (what ever color it is) I would love to see Half-Life, Half-Life 2, EP1, EP2, EP3, and Half-Life 3 along with Portal 1 and 2. And remember when they remade the first Tomb Rader (didn't happen that long ago) they broght the graphics up to date? What if the did that with Half-Life 1? And added new levels or improve old ones. That would be sweet!:E

I think and believe that Episode 3 will come by itself and maybe have a special offer on for the release, just as counter strike etc.

EDIT: and third party modders are actually fully recreating Hl1, with source HDR graphics and effects, its called 'Black Mesa' formally 'Black Mesa Source' but valve didnt like it, release date, unknown...

I guess that pack would have totally different name.

It's like, first it was Half-Life Generation, that had Half-Life + expansions + Team Fortress Classic (and of course all other games) and now Orange Box with Half-Life 2 + expansions + Team Fortress 2 (and peggle and portal).

So the next pack may be something different. But I want it to have very epic boxart and stuff. Orange Box looked so crap... There were many fan-made boxart for it that were really amazing. Why in hell they want such stupid way.

Um hello! five games one box all for sixty bucks. Who wouldn't take that deal. plus theres no break between games. Right after the credits stoped rolling after I beat HL2 I went right on to EP1. No switching disk just out of one menu into another. The Orange Box uberlee pwns that way. What would be even sweeter is a 2d box with even more games on it. And I bring up the idea of putting Half-Life but with up to date graphics and new or improved old levels on the sequel to OB because no one commented on this idea.

They won't make another OB anyway. It was a sound marketting decision for the 360, but now that everybody has a copy they won't want another one.
