Whoa I was playin hl2 like usual and when i came to that place where that guys friend gets killed by the antlions (sorry that's a broad explanation for where i was) and when i killed one of the antlions i took out the gravity gun to grab a nearby crate.----well i ended up picking up a dead antlion! One of its legs seemed to be attracted to the gravity gun! But now i can't do it again. Is that a bug in the game or sumthin?

yeah that aint normal, don't know how that happened. Don't know if it deserves a whole new thread though.

Yep, are you sure you have the normal grav gun (ie: yellow), since the blue one can pick up dead objects.

I think it's a known bug that the normal gravity gun can occasionally pick up the corpse of a random headcrab or antlion.

I picked up a head crab one time and I was so busy trying to find a really good way to use it that I didn't even kill anything for like 2 sections of ravenholme

I guess it's that occasional bit of wildlife with some shard of metal stuck in it from who knows when

The Antlion Bug bug is a well-known bug. Still, it's a cool bug.

No bug intended. Erm, I mean, pun.

Ran into this too. Managed to pick 1 of the Antlions up with the normal Gravity Gun.

Now why can't this bug be for picking up anything like the Super Gravity Gun? (still haven't figured out how to get it early in the game)

I can pick up that antlion aswell, it's not one you kill it's one that's already there as a ragdoll. Many people have reported it.
