Why the hell do i lag out of BF2 for every server i join.

It has to be me, because it's with EVERY server i join. It started like 2 weeks ago, but thursday/friday of last week i could play, but then saturday to now i lag out of every server. I'm on school internet, but they don't block anything, i can use AIM, limewire, visit every inappropriate site known to man. Nothing is restricted; every other game i own plays perfect online EXCEPT bf2. What the **** makes BF2 so damn special that it's the only game that lags out 2 seconds after i pick my class??

BF2 has wireless router issues, I had to swap in firmware to fix my problem.

i'm plugged into the network, and it's not my install, because i KNOW it works fine, it's the network somewhere. But what the hell does BF2 use that every steam and blizzard program do not. Because no other game lags except BF2, and when i say lag, i mean like, 'connection interrupted' is shown until i am kicked for excessivly high ping after 3 minutes.

I have the same at the moment - I was trying to join Cyberpitz on the 256 server and my lowest ping was 500
kicked repeatedly
The problem only started with 1.22 and the only troubleshooting methods don't seem to work
- update punkbuster manually at evenbalance.com
- disable the xfi in the sound tab ingame
- disable zero wireless configuration in services.msc
- disable QoS Packet Scheduler in LAN properties
- type pb_sleep 500, pb_writecfg in the console

if those don't work well hope that 1.3 will help :|
