You Can't Get Onto A Multiplayr Game For Half Life Deathmatch Or/and Cs? Post Here

Hi me again ok this is my problem any help will be much appriciated

Im writing to you for help regarding internet access to the games. By this I mean when I try to connect to a game on "Half Life 2 Deathmatch" (Or counter strike) it comes up with an error message saying "[TEMP] Your version does not match the servers. Please restart the game." This message comes up on every game i try to connect to. I have also looked for an update as i assumed this was the problem but, no such luck.

I have all the maximum requriments and the game runs smoothly. My only problem is above.

Q. Is there any updates to download? (If so, where?)

Q. Why is it not letting me on?

Q. Why isnt my game fully updated? (I got it 3 week ago)

Ps: if you need this - I bought HalfLife 2 Collectors Edition DVD from game. Would this make a difference to the steam network?

It seems that you're using a pirated version. Sorry, but I can't really help, HL2 doesn't come without Steam.

Go to steam and update HL2DM... about it..

Hmmmmm i have the same version but i have no probs maybe you should check
1. firewall setings
2. CD key
3. that your game is not pireted (this is not a easy game to pirate but you might have got your self stuck with a crap version) i wish there was more help i could give you i know how you feel i have heaps of crap going on all the time


STEAM IS THE WORST THING TO COME OUT OF VALVE IT MAKES ME THINK HL2 IS NOT WORTH PLAY COZ OF THAT PEACE OF SHIT
