ZeroPoint-Energy Gun welding?

Hi all

I've just got round to purchasing HL2 (late I know, but funds have been low!)

I played an early version... ahem where you could weld using the ZeroPoint-Energy/gravity Gun and noticed you cannot seem to do this in the completed version.

I'm up to 'anticitizen' levels and was wondering if the gun is upgraded at any time in the game or whether this feature was simply left out of the final version?

I dont think you could ever weld in the game....unless you use Garry's that is Your grav gun will get an update later on, though.

on the leaked Beta version you could put a spot on a barrel (for example) with the gravity gun and join it to another one....

whats the update/grade? :E

You played the leak version?!! :O A naughty little boy ain't ya? :naughty:
You'll get it later in the game when some weird combine enrgy upgrades it into the organic manipulator. (aka blue grav gun, super grav gun, etc.)

yeah 'twas a bit naughty but I always intended to buy the full game, and I have... so forgive me valvE!

It's the phys gun, not the blue grav gun.

When you've finished the game and want to experiment with the physics, you'll definately want to try Garry's mod. Get it here
