Nah. I think Valve's better off with Activision and see how things go in the FPS war against the CoD franchise. But well, there's also Blizzard Entertainment in the sales war, so...
Well I remember the Vort that accompanied Gordon and Alyx to the muscle car in EP2 actually said his fellow Vorts would continue to find unhatched advisors (Shu'ulathoi), probably to destroy them before they could hatch from the Advisor pod. He didn't say anything about fighting them while they...
Who knows? It's Valve's way to change the entire game during the development process. Look at the original Half-life 2 gameplay and storyline (aka HL2 Beta) compared to what the game actually was when released
Portal 2 and HL2:EP3 storyline?
Well we know that Portal 2 is set hundreds of years after the event of Portal, and Portal's event is somewhere during or shortly after HL2. If Portal and Portal 2 are parts of the Half-life Universe, how would the outcome of HL2: EP3 (or HL3 whatsoever) be...

Well I still hope somehow EP3 will come in 2010, maybe Q3 or 4, but being late is better than nothing. Let's see, all the big games (PC and consoles) are coming this year: Starcraft II, Mass Effect 2, God of War III .etc. I don't think Valve's gonna lose the market to their competitors (well...
