I know it's not Nov. 1st yet, but Bethesda recently (yesterday I think) announced a new game - Rogue Warrior. Can anyone confirm if this was the game they were talking about? As much as I'd love to hear new info on Fallout 3, I'm more inclined to think the announced game wouldnt be Fallout 3...

That happens when you overclock your video card to high. Could be that your card is overheating.

Funny thing, when I was searching the forum for answers to this problem before I posted this thread, I noticed that got suggested several times and never was it a solution. I did however try it, and it didnt help.

Has anyone here D/L'ed and tried this demo yet? Cool game, but I'm having some technical problems and sadly the game's official forums are practically deserted. Anyways, there seems to be this bug (on my comp anyway) when trying to load my saved game after exiting and restarting the demo...

Ahh, that's not the same problem i was talking about. That looks sort of like graphic artifacts you'd get from an over-heated video card. Are you overclocking at all? If so try underclocking to stock speeds. And make sure you have enough airflow and ventilation going through your case.

Something like this happened when the game was first released. I think it may have to do with the Steam servers being busy because of the DM update released today. Maybe just leave Steam running and try again later.
