Kind of crazy that some viral video got a children's book created after it. It makes sense though...that stupid song will get stuck in your head. It's gone really mainstream as well. Saw it on CNN yesterday...

So is the alpha getting incremental updates to fix problems? Or are we stuck with this same version until the beta comes out in a few months.

I feel sorry for those that get this Christmas morning. They get to plug it in and wait for a 4 hour update, plus the servers will probably be overloaded and it won't work anyways.

I'm good at picking out price/performance builds, but it doesn't seem like money is a factor in this build. My only recommendation would be to get a GTX 680 instead. Their driver support is quite a bit better. The AMD drivers have been an absolute nightmare for me, especially when attempting...

Started playing this yesterday and I'm surprised how poorly it runs. Using the specs in my signature and I'm lucky to get 40-45 fps on high settings. Guess I could lower the settings but I should have the power...bah. I just hate how un-smooth it feels.

Requires me to run an HDMI cable from my PC to TV? No thanks, I don't have a 200ft HDMI cable. Would have been cool if it was easier to access.

Beat all three missions last night with some friends. It was surprisingly easy...We only failed a few waves. I don't see myself playing this much more...the novelty wears off pretty fast and it gets repetitive.

The only thing that bugs me is the name. Why name is BF4? You should save that title for big leaps in the series. You know for a fact it's going to be using the same engine as BF3 and be extremely similar to it. Way too soon for another game IMO anyways. Guess EA is going to be rotating with MOH...

Not sure what to think about all the microtransaction stuff. I would probably be okay with it if the game was free, but we are still paying the $60+ price tag. I guess it's the trade off for not paying a monthly fee, but that model is dying off anyways.

Started playing Skyrim again. Went ahead and downloaded quite a few mods and made a new archer chick. Loving my giant siege bow. I've been having more fun taking screenshots than playing the actual game.

No more megaporn :(
