2 vs 2?? Really? I mean, what if your partner just plain sucks? 4 vs 4 at least gives you an opportunity to have some teamwork going... 2vs2 sounds like an internal shout match and people leaving without notice. Bad idea.
As said above, not required, but I had a hell of a time without one. Didnt really like the keyboard mouse setup but it works.
I'm just using a cheap logitech dual analog setup and it works great. A good thing to have for your PC anyways...

FF series has lost any and all sense of direction and they are pumping out all kinds of spin offs and crappy hand held tactics games, even going as far as to make a crappy ipod game that tries to come off as "using your music" as a character.

About bloody time !! We were expecting this steamworks update over a month ago.
Their update awhile back was good but just lacked content with only 2 maps. They lost their player count quickly when it was apparent there wasn't enough to keep players around. This time, it's quite different...
About time this MOD got the recognition it deserves. When the older versions came out, a large amount of people would hop on the servers, but leave the MOD after the lack of content just couldn't keep players around.
I really hope they have enough maps and game modes to keep a large player...
