<p>Time to get your "Zombie Panic" on.?The team has put some honest and killing effort in the latest version ZPS 1.6 now available through Steam.</p>

<p>Features include:</p>

<p>A new gameplay mode called "Hardcore" mode. The round is shortened to five minutes, and difficulty is increased extremely for the survivor team. This mode can be enabled via a cvar, or via a map name's prefix. Below are a few screenshots showing off one of the more startling enhancements in hardcore mode.</p>

I haven't played in a while, but I remember the survivors escaping quite often in atleast some objective maps.
