Minors can drink with their parents on private property. The legal limit for them is probably just a legal technicality that has to be in place so they can be charged.

Its the difference between DUI and DWI. If youre caught DUI then its a civil case and you get a slap on the rist and a ride back to your mommy, but if your caught DWI (over .08) then its a criminal case, class c misdemeaner and... well, youre screwed.

You can legally drink as a minor (in the states). However, your parents must be present and allow you to drink. They provide a legal limit for how much minors are allowed to drink, if there parents are present and allow them to drink.

You don't die, but you get put into a severely wounded states where you can think, but you've damange your spinal cord and major parts of your body disallowing to you breath on your own. Furthermore your frontal lobe was damaged disallowing you to form words. You also lost motor controls in your hands due to brain damage. However, you can still think the same way as before. Now for the rest of your life you have to carry around a pump that helps you breath, and sit in a wheel chair. You can't do anything for yourself because of you can't walk or move your hands, you also can't ask for anything because you damaged the lower gyrus of the frontal lobe in you brain.

All because of a drunk 11 year old idiot.
