3rd Party Applications

Hey guys,

Just wondering what 3rd party applications you all use to enhance your gameplay while playing HL2?

ATI has whats known as SmartShader effects that can drastically enhance the graphics of the game by using shaders.. there are alot of custom ones downloadable, but the preset ones are pretty neat.

Also, i use Xfire, a intstant messanger for gamers, lets you browse whos playing on what server, many clans currently use this as it promotes organization.... www.xfire.com

i dont use any 3rd party programs becuase my pc is so elitely awful i wouldn risk that extra ram loss

Well,

I know for a fact, xfire takes <10megs of ram which isnt a whole lot.

Explorer.exe, always running takes over 20+megs depending on whats on your desktop etc.
