i have a radeon 9800 pro and am having a problem getting aa to work...
whenever i turn it on in the ati control panel (whether to 2x, 4x, or 6x) the game is still heavily aliased. turning vsync on in the ati control panel had no effect either. i dont notice any difference at all. when i change the 3d settings in the ati control panel to "application preference" and then turn aa up using the half-life 2 advanced video options, it still has no effect. i didn't get any frame rate drops either.
i have a similar problem with cs:source. the difference is that turning aa up in the ati control panel does lower my frame rate and turning vsync on does work. however, the game is still heavily aliased.
what's going on! please help someone!
