Lavasoft has released the Ad-Aware 2007 adware/spyware scanner. The free version is recommended for all users. Note that if you have a previous version of Ad-Aware installed, uninstall it first.

Download here.

Oh killer. Didn't know it was a new free version too. I noticed when I checked for updates with the previous version that it was saying, "only x amount of days untill Ad-Aware 2007"

Thanks

Spiffy, I'm a Spybot user myself... but I haven't used Ad-Aware in so long.
Would any of ya'll say that it's a bit more efficient than Spybot yet?

Isn't Spybot only for removing adverts and such on your PC?

Anyway, this has been my favourite for a while now. If anyone remembers my Windows Defender/Ad Aware SE Personal thread...

They've both found different things for me so I use both.

I use Adaware in conjunction with spybot. Both have strengths where the other has weaknesses.

This gonna work with Vista and Windows Defender

Its not too bad. Its always best to use a layered defense for doing spyware scans anyway. So by all means use Spybot and AdAware.
