Because the thread itself is specifically about not liking the idea of Adrian Shepherd returning?bboymatty said:guys, if u dont like the idea of adrian shepard then why bother reading this thread then?
I can see how this is possible. Opposing Force was a very "snappy" game. Barely ever a dull moment, with you moving from set-piece to set-piece. I suppose the way I'd sell it would be "like the Surface Tension chapter from HL1, but stretched over most of the game". Of course, there were bits that brought it all down. The new alien race were extremely "meh", and all in all, the new enemy additions lost something of the Half-Life 1 style. I don't hate Shepherd at all. I just don't see what the point is in bringing back such a character, especially one that has no characteristation.Venmoch said:I dunno, I enjoyed Opposing Force much more than Half-Life.
If Gearbox are allowed to develop an expansion, I'd say it's very likely that they'd continue the Opposing Force storyline. As it is though, Valve has shown no intention of letting anyone do an expansion pack, and Gearbox themselves are busy with other projects.FireCrack said:Well, gearbox would be able to make alot of mony from a half life 2 expansion. And if they do so, why not use shepard.
.Got to be better than an Alyx expansion
