I was looking for system requirements for some 3D cards, and here is what I read:

Intel® Pentium® 4/III, Celeron™ II, AMD® K7/Athlon®/ Athlon® XP with AGP 8X (0.8v), 4X (1.5V) or Universal AGP 3.0 bus configuration (8X/4X).

My system has an AGP 2.0 slot (supports 4x supposedly). Will it be able to run with that card without any problems?

Yeah, it should run fine. Most video cards should be backwards compatible with older AGP slots. (Unless you get to the really old ones) If you'd like to tell me which motherboard you've got and which video card you're looking at I can look them up for you but I'm 90% certain it will work. (If you've got a P2 or lower I wouldn't risk it. Even some early AMD Slot A's had the old style AGP slot)
