ai help

:) hello all.

I am trying to put some AI in m half life 2: deathmatch map.

i started using hammer yesterday, and found it VERY easy to use (ive already created my map).

Now, ive managed to get the zombies in there, but all they do is stand there and look at me when i get close and make strange zombie noises.

How do i make them attack the player closest to them and not stop trying to attack him until he is dead?

Oh, dear. You'll be doing a lot of scripting, ai_relationship, and such. There are scripted zombies in rp_evening_of_the_deceased; you could find the author (I have his email address) and ask him for help, if you like.
 
well, actually, now that i think about it, all i want is basic ai that isn't always switching between the player it wants to attack. isn't there just a 'zombie enable' button somewhere?(yeah, right)
