airboat invisible... heeeeeeelp

I started to play Half-life 2 yesterday.
Everything was smooth and Gfx looked pretty good untill I
arrived at the airboat level.
The rebel told me to enter the airboat, but there wasn't any boat in the water.
While going for the water near the rebel ,i bumped into an invisible object. So, I jumed on it and pressed the
'use'-key, and was in "the invisible boat".
First I thought it was like a cloaked boat or something, but the fact that it's invisible made it almost impossible to navigate.
What the hell is happening ?
Does anyone has the same problem and knows how to fix it or should I skip the level ??

what error messages is the console giving u.
You will find you will need to redownload one of your Gcf's

not sure which one but it will be the one that contains the airboats model

use the console command ch_createairboat to spawn another boat, shouldn't be invisible :X

I'll check the console for error messages.
What if I figure out the Gcf where the texture's missing ?
I downloaded from Steam. Can i choose a Gcf to download from steam or do I need to delete the Gcf an update the game afterwards ?

as for the ch_createairboat command; I heard that if you use that command, the AI won't mount the Gun...
Don't know if it's true but I'll check it out tonight
