all nature and enemies are still. please HELP!

Hello there,
Hope somebody reads this.

I find this really odd, yesterday I had HL2 installed and started playing. I reached chapter 4 or so and than had a break for about 3 hours, in this time my computer was shut down.
When I came back I gave the game a [quick] load and this is what happened:

FREEZE! All character are simply still!
All enemies are still, nobody is moving.
No more mister soldiers, no more helicopter, no tanks, no nothing!
I tryed again-and-again to load different levels but the same stuff, nobody moves. I can simply go between the characters and shoot them.
It's basicly no difference between them being dead of still.
Imagine that...
I even pushed it back to the ideea of starting the game again.
Chapter 1, belive it or not...
That g-man, that blue suited man, remember he appears just at the beginning of the game in a form of a dream?

Well, he appears but simply doesn't move!
Allthough in the background, scenes form HL1 still appear.

Can anybody please help me?!

Do you have Steam?

Your ai's been disabled. Enable it to get the mister soldiers moving around again. (Use the console).

Then its definitely the problem.

Verify your game cache. It'll be in your game options in Steam.
