Alyx Boss Fight?

I really doubt this will happen in episode 3, but that's not the point. What are your opinions on a boss fight against Alyx for reasons i have yet to think of. I keep on imagining that fighting Alyx would be a hell of a challenge, so if there were by some cursed miracle a boss fight against Alyx, what would you think of it?

I swear that better not happen. If it does i'll stop playing Half-Life altogether. But if we did have to fight Alyx 1 on 1 then i don't think she will be that much of a challenge, sure she's quick and nimble and actually uses cover unlike the Combine, but i have a shotgun and RPG. I would just find it difficult to kill her cause i like her so much.

If it were to happen i would hope there was 2 different ending for killing her and letting her live, but then it'd screw up the HL universe and cause a Pime Taradox, but even if i wanted to see the 'kill her' ending i probably never would, i too would find it hard to kill her.

I wouldn't make the fight happen, i like Alyx too much and i can't think of a good enough reason for a fight, i'm just wondering of your opinions on it.

If somehow Gordon finds prooves that Alyx is a Combine ultimate technology droid (I know, cheap topic), she wouldn't stand a chance against his shotgun. She sucks, just because she knows how to handle a melee zombie it doesn't make her a good fighter. Even if she suddenly gets new moves, hell of an armor and skills like the black ops female assassins in the original Half Life, she still doesn't have the chance.

And there's also no need for weapons. The gravity gun is enough.

Although I realise this is pushing the thread off-topic somewhat, and I apologize for this, to the previous poster who says gaming has moved on from Boss fights - what of the Antlion Guardian? The Antlion Guards? The first hostile Gunship in HL2, along with the Stalker? They're still "boss fights" as it were, in my eyes. Though I do miss fighting bosses such as the vine boss in Half-Life 1, which require a little more than just burst in and shoot the crap out of it.

It would be good if at the end she got headcrab'd and you had to choose between killing her and not. (It would be good for emotional pull, and Valve would need to kill her even if you didn't; but still...)
