Does anyone think that the G-Man maybe puting Alyx in stasis just like Gordon. So she be in her own game.:naughty:

I earlier expect the person who has Alyx in a stasis to begin his own game.

Then what would stop the vortigaunts from repeating the trick they did at the start of Episode One? This made Gman a bit limp so I think a lot of Episode Two will be showing what else Gman can do.

Also if she is to ever star in her own game it would not be done by Valve and due to her interaction with Gordon probably set before HL2

I'm pretty sure Alyx will never star in her own game. Look at this way - Alyx is a fleshed out character who speaks, acts and shows emotion and so on and so forth. Having Alyx as a character would, in my opinion, shatter the immersion, and Alyx herself.

Yes, LaidLaw sent me an email concerning this. It bascicaly confirmed what the above poster said. Alyx will never star in her own game, unless LaidLaw's perception changes, which I doubt.

G-Man left Alyx to die in that explosion. In other words, she's "not supposed to be here."

Her fate is likely to be the same as Shephard, removed from the world and kept in the G-Man's private collection.

The G-Man is not going to change his mind and use her as one of his clients.

Making a game or expansion about alyx would suck, because in Half-Life 2 & Half-Life 2: Episode One Alyx was fleshed out character. She showed human like traits, She showed feelings, she showed love, she showed fear, & she showed concern. She talked alot in HL2 & EP1, also if they where to make a Game/Expansion about Alyx as the main character...Alyx would not talk at all, Just like Gordon Freeman & Adrian Shephard.

Actually G-man's statement was directed towards Gordon, its basically saying "Gordon your not supposed to be here, Forget about Alyx Vance."

How do you know that it was directed at gordon? Don't try to guess what valve is doing, because they always manage to pull something out of their ass :P

Because after he says it He looks strait at Gordon. BTW part of that line was in the leak. Why would he look into no where. I don't know about you but when I talk to some one I talk to them, & in Half-Life there is no cut scene's. Everything is in Gordon's perspective.

Is it just me or does that wallpaper look kind of.... Rapistic?

I dont really understand leet speak ...but can you tell me what emo means?
Today its often referred to people who cut theirself, but originally it's an shortening of emotional which covers a lot of music styles... or so I've been told.
Edit: Wops; to late.

Exactly. He's clearly talking about Alyx. Then he looks at Gordon for agreement.

If he was talking about Gordon, he would be looking in Gordon's direction as he said it. There would also be no point in having Alyx in that scene if the G-Man wasn't talking about her.

Id like to know since when has alyx being alive is a concern from G-man, he could care less if she is dead or alive.

There is a point in having Alyx there because it involves Gordon relationship with Alyx & he is talking about her & Gordon which I forgot to add. Do you think G-man does'nt know about them two love birds? of course he does.

So when he first looks at alyx then & Gordon while saying the line "Your not supposed to be here, forget about all this."

When I see they key phrase "Forget about all this" I automatically think of "Forget about Alyx." I guess.

right now im not sure, but it would'nt hurt to make a theory.

We wont know what the hell G-man means, until Half-Life 2: Episode Tow releases early next year :)

Private collection. lol i like that.

i agree with a true canadian
alex shouldnt be here as she should of died in the blast, means she survives it has derailed the way g man has planned it all out, therefore gordon is going down a similar but different path and leading to a different conclusion....which im guessing isnt the one that g man wants.

This however also brings me to another conclusion, in that the vortigants know alot more than they are letting on.....do they know something about alex that we dont....is she in fact the key to good destiny of the human race....that only with her help could gordon actually get to the right path

i think to actually find any sort of conclusion from this that will lead to any sort of meaningful discussion......is to first think of what would of happened to gordon if alex hadnt survived like the g man planned
once you figure that out.....that is when you can start to really figure out the story

I believe the G-man could care less about alyx, G-man does'nt give a flying f**k about alyx. how it looks in the end of HL2 during the explosion...G-man did'nt really care, as Alyx is'nt his concern. G-man has more important things on his mind.

Also, when G-man says "Your not Supposed to Be here." you don't see his face nor do you know who he is looking at, all you see is his shadow & hear his foot steps....but only until he says "Forget about all this..." do you see his face.

Yeah I agree with Blitz's theory. Bloody hell, Alyx looks like in one hell of a state in the close up screenshot, and is it just me, or is there a tear rolling down her right eye?

Seems like it is. Heh, didn't notice it before.

So obviously when Gordon and G-Man are talking, she is really upset about something that is being said, man i cannot WAIT for that conversation now, it just getting better, and better, and better, and better and.. *walks away still saying it*...

I reckon Gman only became interested in Alyx after the Vortigaunts saved her. Until then she was just one of Gordon's helpers.
