Another problem concerning Goldeneye Source

Hey i downloaded Goldeneye source but unfortunately can only get as far as the main menu screen ....when i hit the "New Game" option a menu comes up with a "Start New Game" button...Unfortunately whe i hit this button nothing happens! did anyone else experience this problem???

well did you download/install the first version and than the update?
