Any ALIENS/PREDATOR FANS HERE?

I am one of the BIGGEST ALIENS/PREDATOR fans out there. I just updated my collection on my website here: PICS
Thats just my statues, doesnt include my books, magazines, manuals, ect. Yes thats where all my money goes. Anyways, I am dying to find out who is developing AvP3, and what engine they are using. They have announced the supposid plots for ALIEN 5&6, and I think they suck. Will have to see how they turn out. Also a ALIENS vs Predator movie is in the works. Sounds too hoaky for me. Either they will ruin it with some stupid director, or it will just be all cgi and look stupid. Both James Cameran(ALIENS), and Ridley Scott(ALIEN) have shown interest in writing and directing new films. Either one would do a great job. Since they both did the best two films in the series IMO.
 
Yes it would. But you would get FOXED soooo fast it wouldnt be funny. :/
 
yea i love avp, i got both games, and i cant wait untill ALIENS VS PREDATOR MOVIE, YEA A MOVIE.
 
I am not to excited about the movie. I think its going to be cheesy as hell. :/ Hopefully not though. And you know they are going to use CGI for alot of the Aliens and Predators. And its still not good enough today to make it look good. I will have more faith if they get a really good director. But I heard they are using the guy that did Resident Evil. I didnt see it, but heard it wasnt that great.
 
I never played the game, but all the Alien and Predator movies were awsome.
 
Got both games, got all the movies, can't wait till AVP movie, and I heard rumours bout a new aliens one as well (which'll probably be rubish), But I loved Resident Evil movie... Everything that Milla Jovovich has done has been good, then again she is my favorite Actress so you know.... Million Dollar Hotel is the best though...
 
Yeah hopefully more official info will come out this year. Maybe this fall when they rerelease all the dvds with new footage.
 
got Predator and Predator 2 on DVD, and Aliens and Alien resurection on DVD to :D
 
Im sorry... I like both franchises but combining the two on film would be the death of both of them.
 
The two sets of movies had totally different themes to them (except for aliens killing humans, that is). I dont see how they can pull this off.
 
last christmas i went looking for the aliens box set on dvd(the one that includes all 4 movies) but i found out that it was discountinued, then the guy told me about the avp movie, and that when that comes out that there will be an ultimate dvd box set of avp movie, both pred movies, and all aliens movies for like $100+. and also just the aliens set. i was dissapointed though, i have aliens, but i havnt see 3 or 4 for a long time and i would enjoy watching them again, so i might just buy each one seperatly.

Remember back a couple of months ago when James Cameron said he'd told Fox that he had plans for a new ALIEN movie - and all that talk of Cameron writing and Ridley Scott directing? Well, the super-brains at 20th Century Fox are instead forging ahead with the brilliant plan of letting Paul W. S. Anderson (obviously a far superior filmmaker) to make ALIENS VS PREDATOR.

According to this story at Filmforce, other splendid news is that Paul W. S. Anderson is not following any of the beloved storylines from Dark Horses' comic series or the wildly popular video game series. Oh no. Instead of far off world, strange never before seen environments... Nope, instead they'll set the film in Antartica. Apparently the film will feature no character from either series. Hope all is well. Thought you might be interested in a piece of news we have today: Following up on a scoop given to Cinescape today, FilmJerk.com has learned that "Alien vs. Predator" is locked to begin principal photography October in Prague.

We also have the lead character details, of which casting has already begun for filling these roles. Full story RIGHT HERE!!.

Really liked reading the set visit reports on "Hellboy," actually looking forward to that film.

So let's see if I get this right. Instead of pursuing the James Cameron (TERMINATOR, ALIENS, ABYSS, TERMINATOR 2, TRUE LIES & TITANIC) and Ridley Scott (ALIEN, BLADE RUNNER, THELMA & LOUISE, GLADIATOR & BLACKHAWK DOWN) to pursue their developing rebirth of the Alien franchise -- because if you remember, the condition that Cameron had in doing it was that there be no ALIENS VS PREDATOR film first. Well instead of that project, we get Paul W.S. Anderson (MORTAL KOMBAT, EVENT HORIZON, SOLDIER & RESIDENT EVIL) to turn his creative super-genius and long history of wildly successful investment vs return bankability to not one, but two franchises. Oh and to add insult to injury - I just had a report from a source that claims that Paul W.S. Anderson's pitch is to make this PG-13 - That's sure to make it a mega-success.

Well, shit... Makes sense to me. Perfectly logical. No... Doubt.... Smart.... Move.... Ummm... Yeah....
