I was doing some serious martial arts training with someone. We train as if we were in a real situation, we don't have anytime to spare. I was playing the role of someone who doesn't take martial arts and proceeded with a hook punch. My friend hesitated and he just stood there. I commenced with another hook punch and he tried to improvise something(with some techniques that we learned of course) and accidentally hit me in the eye. I wasn't mad because my right eye started to produce tears for a few minutes but I could still see and there was no pain, in addition, my friend defended himself.
The next morning, I woke up and my mother was horrified and said that my right eye was all covered in blood on the left half. I went to school and many students were horrified and asked me what had happened.

Description of my right eye:
-Covered in blood on the left half (it looks like someone dabbed me with a red felt pen)
-No pain
-I can see perfectly

I am unable to see a real doctor because I am lazy, the closest doctor is extremely far away and my schedule won't allow it; you see, I have a few school tests coming up and marks cut-off.
There is no bacteria infection or anything.
Will I be fine?

no offence but if you don't care enough to have your eye checked, why should anyone else?

You've burst a blood vessel in your eye. Nothing too serious, from what I remember. It'll heal.

I asked a question, if you won't properly contribute, then don't reply. I don't care if you care or not. If no one answers my question, I don't care.
It's your choice if you want to answer me. Many people come here and post a thread asking for solutions to problems that I don't care about, guess what? I don't tell them that I don't care.

Thank you.

Bit harsh on Dalf Elf there bud, he was making a good point.

But yeah, you've burst a blood vessel, it looks nasty for a while, but it's heal, and won't do you any harm.

Hehe, Dark is right, I don't care, but I do like a good challenge. I am a nursing student so I'll try and field it.

It sounds like vitreous hemorrhaging, but that is accompanied by loss of vision, or at least spots of no vision. My best guess is some ruptered capillaries in the retna, or surrounding tissue, then bleeding underneath the cornea, or even in the Aques humour and is just not in your field of vision. Might want to have it checked out to be safe (the eye is a delicate organ) but will probably clear up on its own as the cappilaries heal and the remaining erythrocytes (red blood cells, i like big words :E ) are cleaned out.

I was getting a bit concerned but thanks you guys. Anyways, I would've posted a picture, but it looks pretty gross. I am even too scared to look in the mirror.

No, your eye will soon explode and your brain will leak out. Whilst writhing in agony on the floor trying to prevent your brain from pouring out of the exploded eye, your small intestines will start to convulse violently. They will then tear themselves apart under the force of this massive unexpected muscular contraction. This is the start of a domino effect in your body, due to the build of pressure your kidneys will then burst through your spine and your liver will shoot out of your throat.

For further medical advice from Dr Fusion pm me and you'll receive a free bottle of penis enlargement pills.

Sounds like a popped vessel, but a halflife2.net forum probably isnt the best place to seek medical advice.
It should be fine though.

Had that under my skin before (not the eye), faded within the week, but the skin was dark for about 6 months after.

Should be fine, but goto a doctor, just to be sure it's nothing more serious.

Like kmack said, I think it's some kind of hemorrhaging.

er... you probably want to have that checked, in case your eye might be bleeding on the inside too, because if it is, you might start losing your vision.

don't want to get you scared or anything, but once i had a tennis ball shoved into my eye at a considerable speed and then i had a hemorrage too. i was taken to a doctor and he did a bunch of things (don't remember too well... was 11 at the time) and he gave me some eyedrops and lotion for the eyelid.

anyway just get your eye checked just in case.

It was shoved into your eye?
Was it thrown at you or literally shoved into your eye?
If it was shoved into your eye, how did you get it out?
Anyways, thanks for the posts guys, I probably will get it checked by a doctor, however, I'm also kind of scared to go.
That was one of the reasons but I didn't really want to mention it. I was told that the eye drops the doctors had really sting.

Stinging eye drops could be the least of your worries if you don't get checked out.

Yeah I'd definitely get it checked out if I were you, like Kirvoman said - I'd sure as hell would rather have stinging eye drops rather than losing my vision.

actually it wasn't literally shoved... i was wearing glasses and they threw the ball at my eye and hit my eye

about the eye drops, they do sting but not too much. in fact, after a few seconds, your eye feels all funky (sort of like if you were on drugs, but in this case it is the eye). you don't have to worry about those.

Prince of China is making up a martial arts story about how he ruined his eyes. But in reality it was the "Post a picture of yourself" thread.

lol, it does seem like an excuse to make the ladies moist and impress us with martial arts stories.

I have a medical question, I was benchpressing 250 LBs to further sculpt my abs when my 17 inch w**ner fell out of my pants. When i got up, someone mistook me for Brad Pitt and then I stubbed my toe. Well, my medical question is, are you wet yet?

sounds like a regular case of lepracy to me...and I have my Doctrine in Pimpology btw.

no pain no blindness no worries let nature take its course

I am crying from laughing so hard.

I don't know what it was but for Christ's sake this post has got me going.

If you guys don't believe this happened in martial arts, then don't believe me.
How else would I have injured my eye? It could be in any other sport, the point is, my eye is partially red and I asked for help.
Way to go off topic.

I've got two bulging discs in my spine from rowing

Yes I am a doctor....and from my diagnosis...

You're going to die...slowly.

Sorry my friend.

Prince Of China, it sounds like something i had when i was very violently sick one night from food poisoning. Half my eye was normal, the other was very blood shot, but i had no loss of vision. It took about a week to heal.

I'd go see a doctor if I were you, it might heal up on it's own.. but then again, it might not.. it's not worth risking your sight over

Go see your doctor. If its nothing its nothing. If its somthing, he will sort it out with you.

I can't see a better option. :)

Also, practise martial arts more :p

u konw u wanan post pictar anyways :P

hehe yeah it might heal up my mate has a burst blood essel in his eye and it has never healed and he has a really red strip across his eye :P

edit: marks did u intend that " I cant SEE a better option "

hum or am i just reading in to much :P

Kmack knows what hes talking about, its just a few burst capillaries on the surface, and you mentioned a tear, meaning the aqueous humour has been broken, which does happen quite a few times in a human life, so its not a big problem. With the blood in the eye, and the capillaries rehealing, i'd also adivse going to a doctor. Any type of infection could come from this, in the aqueous humour going cloudy which isn't fun at all, and the conjunctiva getting infected and conjunctivitous isn't good news either. It's not a big problem, but could be. Better to be safe than sorry.

Ya, another problem with this is as the blood clots up and the capillaries heal, the clotted blood can break off and enter the blood stream it might clog some cappillaries around the eye and thats not good. If it's not cleared up soon, or worse it spreads, check the doctor, but for now, dont worry. First year nursing students are as good as doctors right?
