Are good speakers really worth it?

Well.. by september I plan on ordering my new comp.. I want to know what you guys think.. are good speakers really worth the extra bucks?

btw, ender are you the ender with the wc3 server, bnet.tog.net ?

Well.. I play WC3.. but im not with any servers.. and is it really worth it.. I have an audigy 2 platinum.... but the speakers are 400 smackers

If your not to comfortable with getting some expensive speakers, i would suggest getting a high quality headphone like Bose or something.
