Artillery and Rate of Fire

In BF2 is there any way to call in artillery as a commander without having to go to that map? I mean like if you see a tank around the corner is there any way to just point at it, press a button, and then have the artillery called in without having to go to the map?

Also, sometimes the rate of fire on my guns just all of a sudden changed. Is there a key to change rate of fire? I dont see one under options.

As the commander hold the "T" key, select Artilliry, it will drop where your standing.

I'm not sure about artillery, if you're the commander try pressing T and see if it's available there, as squad leaders can issue commands to attack and call supplies on where they are looking by using the T menu.

As for rate of fire, pressing the weapon key again changes it. So pressing 3 will get out your M16, pressing it again will change it to single shot or back to burst.

For some reason, even the first bullet of full-auto or burst is less accurate then single, so use single for long distances.

im just using it for a short singleplayer movie.
even if i did use third person infantry to cheat, would it really give me an advantage? there would be no crosshair and movement would be weird.
