Hey all, just wanted you to know that I've started a new website called AskGLaDOS.com which is basically you sending your questions via email and GLaDOS replying to them in Youtube episodes. Check it out, looking forward to answering your questions =)

they would be a lot better not only if better writing was done, but if you added a varation of visual illustrations during the video.
It doesn't all have to be strictly retro-computer looking, that will get old fast if you continually do that. In fact, adding crude visual illustrations/sketches here and there would be great.
Also, make sure to do a variation in GLaDOS's voice, the reason she is so interesting is because her tone is constantly changing in the game. Sometimes happy, sometimes upset, sometimes calm. All depending on what she wants or how she feels. When she is giving information she is rather cold and formal, but she is also a very emotional character.
This seems like it could go far though if you do it right.


Edit: Also, do something about the website background, and the background of the video, all black makes it seem dreadful. Aperture Science Laboratories have a very clean look to them, very pleasant look. You either have to make the website background more clean and nice looking, or the backgrounds you do in the videos. Or both.
Remember, Aperture Science and Black Mesa, visually, can be compaired to a Mac and PC.
Aperture Science, like Mac, concentrates a great deal on being aesthetically glorified, having a very clean friendly feel. As where Black Mesa has grungy more industrious feel, as PC's are generally more industrious looking.

So what I am saying is, your site is a little too industrious looking, but not in a good way, in a very bland sort of way. And it's not really Aperture's style anyways.

the next episode should include subtle political jokes, like taking shots a communism, or Kennedy getting shot, and how Bush is just being manipulated by his party, and not making any real decisions for himself. maybe stuff like that, but cloak it in a portal/half life shroud... or use your own political openions, what ever.
