Best game ever

Meh, I still believe that Ocarina of Time is way too overrated.
:O.

Ban him.

But then again i think Metroid Prime is possibly the most overrated game ever. Going by that list anyway.

Best ever games would be Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3. To decide one of these is'nt possible that's why both are set as the best games ever. I never got a chance to play the first game and the fourth game was nothing like Silent Hill 2 and 3 but it's still very good. I don't know if these games can be rated as video games since they really feel more like a book or a movie.

Second best is The Chronicles Of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay or possibly Half-Life 2.

my roommate bought me FFX and i played it and loved it, then he bought me FFVII and it was so unfreakinbelievable that by disc 3 i never put the game in the PS2 ever again.

i just don't see what the big deal is with the game, the graphics suck (which is to be expected) the sounds suck (again..obviously) and the story is about as exciting as CSI (which is so exciting, i've never made it through an entire show before).

oh nooes aries died! *cries*....I'm sorry, but a large rectangle being pierced by a smaller rectangle just doesn't sadden me...

Tough choice. Here is some random 'best games ever' instead: Half-life 2, Half-life, MGS series, System shock 2, Deus ex.

Pfft, Curse of Monkey Island wins. I never really got into Final Fantasy games.

I have no problem saying that the Silent Hill games stories have the most depth out of all the games I've played. If you disagree then you need to check out the book "Lost Memories." I think it was only released in Japan by the developers of the series, but some guys translated some of it and have it hosted on their site HERE. Anyway, they hide ALOT of the detail and complexity in the games but in this book they reveal alot of things. I think it is just about the only game that has a story on par with a good novel, I just love that.

Garfield you really, really, really need to get Silent Hill. Gameplay wise I think it is the best in the series. I don't find it as developed as the other ones but I have the most fun playing it. You can probably pick it up at a local gamestop in the used section of the psx games (that's where I got mine). I've played and also own every one in the series and it ranks highly as far as my favorite games go.

Half Life probably for me, but FF7 was one of my fav role playing games, I played threw that with megadeath for background music which made it so much better for me.
