I'm seeing something like this shape in the upper right hand of my right eye. should I be worried?

Also, I haven't had more then 4 hours of sleep in over a month,is that the culprit?

I knew a girl who woke up with black spots on her vision. It was some kind of infection that stopped blood flow to her retinas and she still has empty spots in her sight cause the retina cells died.

shit. cause i have alot of broken blood vessels in my eye.

well, there's always stem cells these days.

The only thing you can do now is cut your eyes out so you don't see black people.

Go get some sleep. Those are normal. You're just noticing them more.

Lack of sleep
Beginning of migraine.

Take some painkillers and come back after at least eight hours sleepsies.

Probably floaters.

If so, there is nothing you can do.

I get mad floaters, especially when looking into a bright / well-lit area, they're super distracting and I use to worry that I would go blind or eventually see nothing but a cluster-**** of clear/black lines and dots. But I saw the eye doc and they described what I had as Vitreous Floaters, and the pictures shown on that article match almost exactly what I get, so my anxiety eventually waned and I went back to mostly ignoring them. If you are experiencing any pain/discomfort or worsening vision, however, you should see your doctor right away.

I get so damn many of these, even when looking at my computer monitor sometimes. :(

I'd be more worried about those hands sticking out of your eye, not the fact that there's something in the upper right one.

Normally, spots like these can be seen by bear eyes under bright light source, or heavily contrasted environment. They are the shadow of red blood cells, cells carrying Oxygen in our blood. Their shadows sometimes project onto our retina. In some particular angles, the shadow of blood vessel network can be seen as well.

It's lack of sleep, and I would know. Get some sleep, boi.

Tiny semi-transparent spots are normally not an indication of an eye disease. Rather, it shows that your eyes lose focus, which means your eyes are tired and require rest.

Bigger black spots can means temporary light blindness. After looking at a bright light source, the eyes will be that way. No matter you are conscious to the exposure to bright light or not.

WARNING: Persistent dark spot can means the wearing off of the retina, which can lead to permanent blindness. Consult a doctor immediately if the spot stays on the same place for hours or as if there is a fly staying around at your sight.

Could be sleep deprivation induced hallucinations.

Getting sleep, either way, is probably a good idea.

Probably floaters.

Not floaters, I have a few, their usually brownish, wispy, and move, or small fairly clear and mostly unnoticeable unless staring at the sky or something.

You can learn to ignore them, hell, sometimes when I'm really bored I "play" with them moving them around. :imu:

Haven't noticed them for months though, I can barely see hem as I try to right now. Going away?...dunno, but I totally agree with the stem cell sentiment, or the general improvement of medical maintenance. I don't like the notion of living in a world where your sight and hearing and stuff can just deteriorate. I can stand allot of things, severe injury, losing a limb even, but I hate the whole notion of losing senses, I find the prospect really horrible TBH.

You see them...

AND THEY CAN SEE YOU. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Don't find yourself alone.

I get that sometimes D:

It's just dust on your eye. Nothing to get alarmed about.

OH SHI-

I just went to the doctor about my eye because my eye lid was swollen as well.

Well, guess what. I HAS MRSA!!!!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mrsa

My eye lid was getting eaten by little devils from hell. The spots in my eye are apparently white blood cells that are flooding the area. My eye lid is ejecting shit like it's the end of the world.

You know what this means? A HL2.net member HAS A POTENTIALLY LETHAL DISEASE, OH YEA!
If I don't make it, gah screw it, your all losers! (not really, I have a very low chance of death 6% or so.)

I'm quarantined at the hospital typing through something like this.

I ****ing told you it was serious in the very first post. The girl who lost her vision had some bacterial infection just like this.

I Are Dumb. Well, at least they said it's only white blood cells in my eye. MRSA never got to th eye, just the lid.

And it's only a few cm of it. the ones who die from it have the shit all over them. If I wanted to live with a hole in my eye lid, they could just cut the flab of skin off probably, but I'm no doctor. anyways, they got to it on time, and I'm going to be fine.

yes, as I said above.

It should be noted that it's mid term week at my school. perrrrrfect.

My god I hate that thing. The translucent line with that little black dot that I can never catch...

someday...

someday...
