i went through the manual, and it says "blocking with shield has a chanceto do a knockback counterattack, staggering enemy if shield blow connects" first, what does it mean by chance to do knockback counterattack? and what does it mean by shield blow connects?

What is the difference between staggering, knockingback, knockingdown, paralyzing? I need a explanation of what they do, and what they look like when it happens.

I've only seen the enemy's weapon bouncing back and he's open to an attack for like a second when I block. Paralyze, if it's like the spell, they will stand still and then their body falls to the ground. When it wears off, they slowly get back up.

Paralyze has to be the best spell in the game!

what about shield blow connecting? what in the world does that mean?

When you are good enough with block (expert I think) there is a random chance that whenever you block an attack with a shield that you counterattack with the shield. If it hits the enemy it will stagger them (leaving them off balance and open to an attack, even more then if had just blocked).

i see, so just ignore that word connect? because i still dont get what it means by connecting

Doesn't a shield also has a chance to disarm at a certain level. I know that level 50 blade can disarm a opponent with a power swing. Funniest thing ever, just see the guy drop this weapon and shied and then run after them.
