Is there any bot support for this game? i don't mean aimbots, i mean like computer controlled players like in ut2k4. It's fun beating on them . Might wanna try killing some bots in my server.

Not yet, although Valve released alot of the source code for the bots used in Counter-Strike: Source so it wouldn't surprise me if someone is modifying that right now to create a HL2DM bot.

the only reason I'd want bots for HL2DM is if I had terrible lag online.

bots would be cool, just as another option, although online is still the way to go for me.

or even temporarily filling up a server with a few "players" until the the traffic gets better.

I don't really miss bots right now even if they can be nice to have around some times. But at least you can't have servers filled with only bots right now.
