Box art at Target has Alex

I was at Target trying to buy the game but they would not let me until the 16th The box had Alex on it? I though it would be Gordon?

There are a total of 3 different box covers for the retail version of Half-Life 2.
Alyx, G-Man, and Gordon.
Kapeesh?!

The Collector's Edition has all 3.

I believe they are allowed to start selling them now. It was an agreement that was reached between VU and Valve since Valve started selling early online.
