British road signs in half-life 2?

I love watching the half-life 2 videos and have come to notice that theres british road signs or ones very similar in the barricade video and also the coastline video, could this mean that half-life 2 is set in britain?

well i dout it but still just thought i'd ask.

Um actually it's not. They haven't said where it's located, they've only said that it's based on eastern european architechture (sp).

And given out a clue that it is located in eastern europe. Still, its probably only an 80% chance we've got the location right.

Nearly every country in europe uses the same set of roadsigns - with slight variations of course (e.g. Moose instead of cows in sweden).

It makes sense if you think about it for a couple of minutes (or perhaps even less).
