Bullettime doesn't work in Garrysmod 6?

for some reason no matter what I do in Garrysmod 6 I can't get the game to recognize the fact that I want to change the host_timescale and cl_phys_timescale variables.

When my fancy shmancy alias/bind/whatever didn't want to work, I directly typed host_timescale .2 into the console and still nothing happened.

I want to be able to blow up an assload of barrels in slow motion! Can anyone offer any insight as to why garrysmod no longer supports changing the time variables.
 
I did phys_timescale .2 and it worked...although rockets didnt go slower :(
 
The bullettime in my script seems to work in garrysmod. Here, try it out:
