Im looking for a way to bypass telnet blocks Any ideas?
Looking to play a Mud and The port blocks kindof prevent it.

You should be doing schoolwork anyway ;) There should be something, though.

Yeah, msn is blocked at my school, any ideas?

Yes I know you got those msn's online...

When you're at school, just do your school work. Wait till you get home to play anything.

We didnt ask for a freaking lecture of some guy who loves school, we asked for answers from the all mighty firewall blockers

I don't love school, you aren't at school to go on msn or play games, I think you can wait a few hours till you get home.

It'll probably be restricted because your not an admin. Get admin priviledges. :P

Yeah, seriously... just take the time to do your work. If you've got time to be messing about, do your homework/reading instead - then you'll have more free time after school. Then you'll be able to do whatever you want online without wasting time getting around security.
It's all about efficiency!

You need to use a proxy. That should let you get to blocked sites, etc. Google it, theres too many to list.

If you don't want to do your damn school work then do what I did and drop out.

Other then that I agree with disturbed.

He's not trying to get to blocked sites. :|

You can try asking the administrator of the server to use a different port, as port-blocking is a very common form of firewalling.

Failing that, you'll have to tunnel telnet through something else, but that can get complicated.

use a web messenger, webmessenger.msn.com , e-messenger.net , msn2go.com
or if you can access program files and if you've downloaded messenger then go to it's folder and instead of running like msnmsgr.exe try opening msmsgs.exe , my school didn't block the second file and it will run msn.

You need to tunnel it. That may or may not be possible. At my school, every port is blocked but the ones that are approved (80, 443, 3389, etc). The firewall is not located locally either, since every byte of information from my school is passed through our schools servers, and to downtown (district), through Bess (external) then out to the internet - by that time, you cant do shit.

Just lan games anyway.

For MSN messenger you can try and go to options, and pick a proxy to use. However, that never worked for me. Keep in mind that most schools suspend or even expel for using proxys... not that you should care, they dont know their asses from their elbows.

Agreed.

I would agree that you should be doing work, but in my comp class I sit there most of the time browsing sites because I'm done with my work, being able to bypass the firewall might not leave me so bored the whole day.

Sometimes you have no work to do and 3 hours until next lesson (and a longway home) and you will get bored out of your mind.

Indeed. Or other leap hours when you have nothing else to do.

Yeah we've got port blocking, site blocking, MSN blocking. You can't run programs from most computers, and you can't download anything that has .exe or .zip/rar attached to it :|. Luckily I have a friend who's the year below me who's the tech at our school and can unblock any site :D
EDIT: And install CS 1.5 on all the school computers for a massive LAN :E

www.dot . tk

Redirecting sites sometimes works, I managed to bypass our school's blocking software with a simple re-direct.

I didnt ask for a god damn lecture on school Morals..
I asked a simple question, if you dont know, dont answer.
I need some easy way to tunnel all information for telnet through the http port. I know there are http tunneling programs, But Most require alot of installing etc.

Aww isn't this cute, hes getting all fussy now, since he isn't getting any answers.

Believe me kid, you should be listening at school. Otherwise you'll end up with a crappy low paying job, like myself.

Could we stay on topic?

The thing is, Im at tech school, And see i usually know half of the stuff were doing (im at an A+ certification class half day of school, And im a junior.. AND i have an A in tech school, AND im getting certified before most kids even think about it.)
Anyways, I already know Most of the stuff he teaches, So im always done about an hour before we get out, And were allowed to do prety much anything we want if were done. AND i get decent grades in school. So i dont see where any of these "You should study" comments should even affect me. Now , Again.

Does anyone know where i can get a Http tunneling program Thats preferrably in zip form and is relatively easy to use?
Thanks.

Man stop lecturing him. Trust me, in all my computer classes 90% of people would complete all their work for the day during the first 15 minutes and the teachers wouldn't have anything else to do but help the stragglers. The rest of the time we spent playing games and posting on forums like this one. Most of us ended up with mid 80's or higher in marks.
