Calculator Question

Hello I have a question as Ive been reading the boards I found they're many IB students on here. im curious what kind of calculators do they allow and they dont allow my mom just bought one and we might have to take it back so... anyone know ??

When I took it the TI-83 was allowed in the exam, but that could have changed. I suggest you google it: Click here.

Its a TI -83 Plus i cant find any information about it anywhere.. I guess ill wait monday and ask my ib counselour thanks though.

TI-86 is definitely the way to go.
I downloaded tetris and pac-man onto mine. Without that, I never would have survived math class.

They were mandatory for my IB class, so I'd guess they're allowed for you too.

I had a TI-83 Plus. It was good all the way through Calculus. It is great for statistics as well.

how the hell do you get them on if you don't have a silver?
the silver has usb. the regular 83+ just has that stupid link cable...

They just released the Ti-84 Plus, and IB and AP approved it. (Yay!) But I'm sure a Ti-83 Plus (preferably the faster silver edition) should do it for you.
