Has anyone played it (the PC version)? Is it any good?

I remember anticipating this title I think 2 years ago. Then I kinda lost interest, but now that it's released (it got released in April or May?; rather "silent" release), I'm thinking of picking it up.

I've been planning on getting this game.

Great mix of adventure, exploration, action, and stealth mechanics; creepy, compelling storyline; invisible interface adds to immersion; some outstanding audio; intense chase sequences.

A straight port of the Xbox version that could have been enhanced for the PC;

I've played through the first chapter of the story. It's pretty freaky in places and you'll always be looking over your shoulder. It's quite a slow game mind and it can get pretty tough with you replaying bits every now and then.

It's a good game, though it's not really my kinda thing so i haven't finished it or anything yet.

Yea, I almost said the same thing.

The game is already under $27 at at least one on-line store I saw listed. If the launch price is about $30 US, thats a good deal for a good game, but I won't even have time to play it right now, so I'll just pick it up at a discount later.

The video with the water creature, and a few others I saw had me sold. Plus, you can't beat "your player has physcotic episodes" or whatever. :laugh: awesome.

That water creature was at least as big as - and almost as kick ass as the giant alien boss from Crysis IMO. D=

I played through the whole game and i think it's a great experience. Especially the escape from the Hotel and the journey on the freighter (and its finale) are exceptionally made.

You should give it a go, i can recommend it ...

Yeah, the escape from the hotel was a pretty tense moment and you had to be quick else you were dead D: Had to replay that scene so much. Never got any further than that though.

Here, it is on a 3 for £20 offer.

I am waiting until there are other decent games for that offer, and then I'll buy it along with the other 2
