Just finished the game

Everytime I play Half Life, I get dizzy and feel like throwing up. But for some reason, I managed to finish HL2 (finished it 2 mins ago). So can someone summarise what happens in HL? And who is the G-Man guy?( I saw him in HL while brother was playing HL. He had a suitcase and just stayed still)

I would, but I've summarized it like three or four times already for othert posters (and it takes me about 15 minutes each time).

The G-Man question I can answer...nobody knows who he is or what he really wants.

your Gordon freeman an M.I.T. graduate and you have a job at black mesa in the anomalous materials laboratory. You are conducting an experiment but it all goes to hell and whats called a resonance cascade occurs and you have to get to the surface for help. when your half way there you meet the military who are cleaning up the mess along with you and the scientists.

You are told to some how get to the lambda complex but before you do you must launch a satellite which is need to clean up this mess. you fight your way to a old missile silo which has three large tentacle things in it which you must kill by test firing a rocket. You then travel by train to the satellite silo. After you launch it you are captured by the military and left for dead in a trash compactor you then fight your way through a treatment plant to a top seceret lab where you find out that scientists have been studying the xen creatures for quite a while.

You are still trying to get to te lambda complex but to get there you must cross the surface which is under total military control. You get outside only to be chased by a helicopter until you find an RPG launcher and take it down. You still continue across the surface until youget to the seceret lambda complex entrance.

Once inside you have fight your way through the complex to activate the coolant for the reactor then the ractor itself. After that you meet a scientist who tells you about how they have been travelling into xen for quite some time collecting specimens until the scientists got collected themselves. He then tells you that the portals to our world are being held open by a super powerful being which you must kill to stop this crisis.

You protect a scientist while he powers up the teleport for you to travel to xen.

You are now in xen and looking for the being but you find a monster called gonarch which you have to fight you kill it then are teleported to a alien factory which you must fight through to get to a teleporter which teleports you to the being.

The name of the being is Nihilanth and he is big but weak in the aspects of strength but in power he is strong. You must shoot these crystals which regenerate him then jump up to the highest platform to shoot through the slits in his head into his brain which seems to be made out of energy.

Once he is dead you find yourself teleported once again into the presence of the gman who talk about how he is very impressed with your efforts and how he has recommended your employment to his employer to which they agree because of your"Limitlessss potential". Gman then talks about how earth is control of the border world xen "for now" and only because of efforts against nihilanth. He then offers you a choice between a battle you cant win and working for him. If you choose the battle its just endless alien grunts standing before you, if you choose employment the gman congradulates you on the "right choice". END OF GAME

soz its a bit much but that HL1 basically summarised. could of missed a few points but im sure its all there.

I'll summarize HL for you.

You need to play it. ;)

Well basiacally it is about this guy who has to commute to the middle of New Mexico for work, and then park his car in the very small parking garage, and then they usually have to recheck his security pass because of the faulty systems. Finally you enter the Black Mesa Research Fecility and you board a tram which takes fourty minutes to reach its destination. Because of the fourty minute tram ride, you one day (while in the tram waiting to arrive) decide to cause a resonance cascade to occur inside your test chamber, just to spice things up.

Just kidding :)
