Cant change resolution or alt+tab

When i try to change resolution or do the alt+tab it get a message:

So what is this for kind of thing? Why does it happen?

I have the absolute lastest drivers to my card (a Radeon X600 PCI-E 256 mb)

It does the same at CS:Source, Garry's Mod and HL2eathmatch

You know. Shall play garrys with a freind, find a good server. Then i must alt+tab to tell him the server.. Osv osv osv..
