Just ordered CSS online cuz i lost all my info with my other account (password..account name...e-mail) and was getting impatient. I have the game now but when i wanna go online it starts loading the map then....stops working and goes "not responding" when i ctrl+alt+delete it. Playing in a server on my own with bots it works just fine...

3ghz
1 gig ram
6800gt vcard

Incase you're wondering.

Do you have a firewall and are you behind a router?

My dad has the router downstairs on his comp (we share..mines upstairs his down) and got zonealarm.

I tried again..left it for a few minutes and the game started but first game i was facing an enemy and the game had the pistol shot sound on a continious loop so i exited (program not responding...) but it works....i guess. It just froze.

Yeah, some of the ports are probably blocked.
Forward these ports: Link

How do i do that? i've never used a router and my dad uses it but never touches it as he and me never need too. Game is always freezing and i have to reconnect most of the time for the freezing to stop only for it to start again after.

You could ask someone that is more tech savvy that lives near you, because a lot of routers are different and if you screw up there, you might accidentally block yourself from the internet, leaving you with no other option than to buy a new one.

Just get a techie in your house :p. If they try to charge ridiculous amounts of cash (over 30$/20£), tell them that it wasn't worth it. For more than 30$/20£, you could have sent it to a repair center that would have done the job for you.

I don't want to sound like a Geek Squad employee, but... I am one. If you read the manual for your router, or find a manual online, it will tell you exactly how to open up ports.

I actually disagree with beerdude, hiring somebody to come to your house will always be a rip. We overcharge terribly, and from what I know, all of our competitors do too. I'd put more faith in your ability with a manual in hand then a tech's ability with your wallet in hand.

Yeah, that's why I said if they TRY to charge you. :p With a techie, I meant a tech savvy person, not an employee of Geek Squad or any other center.
