I don't think that an MX really counts as a GeForce 2 though... the GeForce 4 MX was just a rejigged GeForce 2, lacking the features of that generation of Nvidia card. I'd say it's too risky to go and buy HL2, bearing in mind that the returns policy on the game is complicated by the fact that steam has centralised authentication, making a CD key useless once tied to an account. If you're definately going to get a new card sometime, think about it... but you may as well just wait until you can play the game with the best graphics possible. As shallow as it sounds, a lot of the thrill of HL2 is in the graphics - that's just a testament to how amazing they are, and not saying that HL2 is otherwise a bad game.oldagerocker said:
