Chapter X ENtanglement (nothing happening)

Hey guys. I arrived at Prison block D8, got some supplies from the office and killed the combines. Once I dropped down and set up the turret guns nothing else happens. I am left wondering the area, and I can hear a battle in the distance but I am stuck here with no way out and no battle as the walkthrough suggests. Any thing I am missing or is this a bug I am stuck with? I tried re-loading the level but get the same result. HELP!!

An event is supposed to trigger at that stage, sounds like a bug, restarting the level might be the onlyt way to fix it...

make sure you set up all three of the turrets, otherwise the combine soldiers won't come in.

Thanks, I'll try that. I think I only set up two last time, one for each door where they are located. Am I supposed to hear Alyx at this point like the walkthrough suggests?

Yes she'll periodically say things over the intercom like "Here come more of them Gordon!" or "Wow you really hit the motherload!" and then she'll say she's coming in when it's over.
