It will be interesting to see if cheating plaques HL2 as it does HL1 (especially Counter-Strike). Hopefully there will be measures in place from day one to ensure that it stays as cheat free as possible. In the early days of CS things like alphamin and model bugs that were basically cheats built in to the game (although I doubt deliberately). Hopefully there'll be nothing like this 'accidently' included with the full game.
What kind of cheat protection do you think there will be (for multiplayer)? Will we have to resort to third party programs like punkbuster/cheating death etc etc or will Valve take a strong stance on it from the beginning, eliminating the need for such? Has anything been mention yet in regards to this issue?
