So its back to normal. Shame we didnt get to go to them, but the main action was in the HQ of everything, so made for a better game.

When that explosion went off, it was the equivalent of the airplanes flying into WTC. When the citadel collapses, it's the equivalent of a nuke going off in downtown New York City. Think about that.

Noone knows how big the explosion would be... unless something like that has ever happened before... and it hasnt. The citadel blew up, but it wasnt all that tall. Wasnt it like a mile high? Sure, there is going to be a lot of deaths, but it seems to be a big city. I dont see how it is like a nuke.

How can the citadel blew up (apart from that teleporter) ? 99% made out of metal. I think every city has a citadel. Why would it colapse? Because there is a big explosion above it?

Back in Eli's lab there is a cardboard filled with newspapers, one of them says "EARTH SURRENDERS". The whole earth is taken over bij the combine?

The explosion should be very, very powerful. It's a dark energy reactor, damnit, should be more powerful than a nuclear reactor blowing up. What we saw before the GMan came was just the first second of the explosion... it's not as if a bomb went off in the citadel, it's at least as strong as if a good nuke was blown up.

Nitpick: Nuclear reactors don't melt down unless someone inside is doing something very, very stupid.
