I suppose most of you remember that a month or two ago Gabe released 2 sound files that had the G-Man speaking. One was where he said "This is where I get off." This sound file is heard
at the end of the game
. However, after playing through the game, I realised that I never heard the g-man speak the other line, which went something like "Cleverly done, Mr. Freeman, but your not supposed to be here. As a matter of fact, you're not. Go back where you came from and forget about this, until we meet again." Has anyone found a place where the G-man speaks this line? My guess is it was either removed from the game, or you have to find the g-man in a hard to reach area.

my guess is it was just a ''try-out'' line... like a demo or something...

Gabe sent the files to Chris_D, if memory serves me right. He then posted them on the front page. Or they might have come from HLFallout.

There are loads of sound files that weren't used, both in HL2 and HL1, for whatever reasons.

But they even did it in Russian, like the rest of the samples, a bit too much hassle for a "try-out" line.

Well, it was lines from the English and Russian versions to display how mind-numbingly fabulous their different voice actors and translations were. So maybe it was supposed to be in but it got cut out for whatever reason.
But I always got the impression that that would be played if you found some sort of secret area with the G-Man in it. Not a proper part of the level, just a clever litlle secret.

I don't think it is in the GCF files though. Which is really disappointing.

Wild speculation here, but perhaps it'll be in the demo or the High-End levels? Assuming that these show bits that aren't in the game already of course...

It'd make sense to get as many lines out of the voice actors as possible of course, just in case you use the samples sometime in the future, you don't have to call them back and pay them again ^^
