On Saturday morning, just after 9:30am, Governor Corzine signed an order shutting down New Jersey's state government.

This order makes everything have to shut down: construction, parks, beaches, casinos...

The closure became inevitable after an hour long meeting Friday night between Corzine and top legislative officials ended without agreement and significant differences remaining.
So this action became unavoidable...but why? It didn't say in the article for what reason they had to shut a whole state down.
Could it be because of eon8? :O

Discuss.

ATTENTION: The eon8 question is a joke and is not to be taken literally. Now continue discussing.

I don't get it. Why are they closing the state down? Is it union trouble or are they in debt? Tell me !!!

The Article said:
"We're working hard on a solution,'' said Codey, who supports Corzine's budget plan. "There's a lot of ideas, more ideas than Heinz has got pickles, and we're trying like the Dickens to find the ultimate solution.''

But anyway, that's very weird. Was it really necessary to ditch the entire state government?
