Cloud Strifes sword

Im pretty new to 3d max and this is my first model which i havent used a tutorial.


This is the sword when all 6 peices are put togeather.

This is the sword taken apart.

And this was me trying to use shadows.

So yeah i was kinda pleased with myself as this only took me 3 hours.

Is there anything in here which i can improve on?

For a first model I would say its pritty good, real crazy concept. You just need to keep practicing untill you get better. Keep trying to add more detail, i would say add some on the grip and hand guard. They look a little bland atm.

Looks very good especialy since you only took 3 hoursto make it but like Stormy said add a bit more detail.
