CoD4 (?) video footage

Seems COD'ish I guess.

It's apparently supposed to be in modernish times, are there any clues to that in the video?

Yes, in the beginning of the video you can see a Mi-24 Hind fly past the player briefly for a second, the uniforms on the soldiers, the weapons and so on. There's plenty of proof suggesting that it's all set in modern times, but none stating that it's Call of Duty even though it does look quite obvious.

Hopefully some hi-res images will turn up soon.

Cool, thanks guys. It had that COD feel in the animations and stuff.

Was your video faster than the audio? Mine was mental!

 at the speed of that Hind as it came through the street, and again at when he gunned those two guys down in the street. I'm glad the sync/speed is what's messed up, I was thinking it was meant to look like that and... well, that it looked crap.

Looked cool though, deffo COD I'd say. I could tell straight away. Coooool.

maybe this is that game that i saw before. Were the nazis counqured America etc. No ingame has been seen before so it might be that (the game takes place around now i guess). I dont know it might be an RTS so it might not be this game.

Just speculations...

Phew, thought it was just me!

Damn low-res movie. I doubt its CoD4, unless this is the PS2 version, the partical system and textures seem less than fruitful

Woah those soldiers need to cut back on certain pills :p

Can't believe noone else noticed... no iron sights? Deffo not CoD. Does have the same sort of feel though, especially the start riding in on the tanks.

Was it just me, or was that game fugly for being brand spanking new?

Yeah, whatever it is it looks like a very early build. Hopefully anyway...

doubt it - enemy in sight is meant to be an operation flashpoint competitor/milsim
this is very CoDish whatever it is

edit - hmm whatever initial impression I got from the original preview, this might actually be EiS.

ENEMY IN SIGHT has everything a good shooter game should. The game is set in the near future. Instead of the Cold War ending as it did, the tension only escalated, and now the US and Russia are battling it out for supremacy. The game takes place in Europe, including England, Germany, and the Czech Republic. Each level has a very distinct, unique appearance that both fits the location and yet adds just a hint of a futuristic touch. Gamers take on the role of a soldier in the battle, beginning as a basic infantryman and slowly climbing the ranks as they clear each mission. Missions include diverse goals such as defending a target, collecting intelligence, holding an area for a specific amount of time, and defeating enemies. The game also includes a number of different vehicles, like tanks, that gamers will have to use to accomplish specific objectives. In addition to an unique setting and intense single player action, ENEMY IN SIGHT includes multiplayer gameplay that has teams of players battling it out for control of the battlefield. ENEMY IN SIGHT promises great battles, tons of action, and entertaining combat
arcade military shooter? pass

Meh it's just as bad as a CoD. Scripted linear shooting, what's the point?

Not CoD4.

The music goes techno ffs lol.

No, it's not CoD4.

I'm not sure on this but it might well be Enemy in Sight, a new FPS game being developed by Illusion Softworks. Read more about it here.

Read my post, and look at the logo in the video on the lower left.

Scripted games can be really fun the first go. CoD exceeds in that. Although regenerating health in CoD2 was a good way to ruin it.
